Believe it or not, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons both have a great shot at making the playoffs. While Pittsburgh has a solid record and could still sneak in without winning its division, Atlanta plays in a very weak division and has to win its division to make the playoffs.
The Steelers are coming off a statement win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Not only did Pittsburgh win by the score of 42-21, but it managed to do that on the road. It still has to play the Bengals one more time this year, and that game could be for all of the marbles in the division.
Atlanta also got a statement win not too long ago. That win came against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13. Arizona only has three losses on the year, and could end up with a top seed in the playoffs. Unfortunately for the Falcons, they followed up that win by getting beat by the Green Bay Packers. That game was played on the road for Atlanta, so I am sure many fans saw that one coming.
